Purpose: Our goal as coaches with Soul Sneakers is to provide basic skills, drills, practices, and applications in a game setting showing our connection with Jesus.

In order to better serve you and your family, we would like to inform you that here at First Baptist Church, we love the Bible and view it as God's gift to us as His Inspired Truth for life and doctrine. We also believe God's ultimate purpose of the Bible, often called the Scriptures, is to instruct our minds and therefore our hearts so that He might transform our lives for His glory by bringing us to faith in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. 

In the spirit of complete transparency, we would like to share our foundational beliefs so you can make an informed decision about your level of involvement with our family called First Baptist Church. Due to its length, we would like you to go to www.sbc.net and read a standard confession of faith that Southern Baptists believe. First Baptist Church holds to what is called the "Baptist Faith and Message." 

Once you read our statement of Faith, if you could sign your name at the bottom of this document, we would greatly appreciate that acknowledgement. In the meantime, here are the essentials of who we are and what we're about at FBC. 

Jesus: He is the Son of God, our Savior, and we live for Him. 
The Bible: We submit to Scripture as our highest authority.

I hereby confirm that First Baptist Church reserves the right to dismiss me as a coach for teaching something or behaving in a way contrary to that of the statement of beliefs. I further understand that in signing this form, I release and hold harmless its trustees, officers, employees, interns, and any volunteers from liability, past or future, fully and completely.
